If your family, like lots of others, is spread around the globe, here's a wonderful way to represent the triumph of love over geography. I saw this on Shared from Way Over Here, a blog created by Jenni R., an American living in Portugal with her husband and two daughters. The pillow shows the locations of the girls' grandmothers, two locations which also happen to correspond to the places where Jenni and her husband grew up. Jenni found this pillow pattern on Kiki Creates, but she had to figure out the best way to add Alaska. I think her pillow looks great. The pillow is suitable for grandparents' houses as well, although some grandparents will have to cut out a lot of hearts.

What a great idea! I’ll have to get to work on pillows for my grandsons…and myself, too, maybe. Thank you!
This is a unique idea!
