My fellow grandparent bloggers always have good grandchild stories to share. Here's a cute one from Jerri Miller of Grammy's Lists, a blog which has a special tab for funny kid stories:
Grammy and Makenzie were swinging on the porch swing. Grammy noticed Makenzie's pink sequined flip flops and complimented her on her shoes. Exasperated, Makenzie replied, " Grammy, dere name is called Slip Slops and dey have sprinkles on dem!"
I want some sprinkles on my Slip Slops.
Over at Googie's Attic, a post titled Art Linkletter Got It Right details the funny things granddaughter Sooby says. Recently the family was enjoying barbecued ribs. Sooby, busily scraping the sauce off all the ribs on the serving plate, announced that she really liked the "ham icing."
