Youthful, Well-Fitting Clothes Are Just the Ticket

I think I look young from the shoulder blades down.

Youthful, Well-Fitting Clothes Are Just the Ticket

Arms rule.

How would you describe your fashion look?

Young-ish without looking ridiculous. Also, somewhat artsy. I am a parenting writer/author and a visual artist by night and a professional by day. (I am an attorney who appears in court).

How do you achieve your look?

I only buy things that show off the figure to best advantage (small framed). I rarely wear prints, and only small ones. I wear primary colors and black and navy and green. (I am a redhead with fair skin.)

Tips and Tricks

  • I only buy things that fit perfectly.
  • I buy things off-season on sale and keep them for the next season (perennials, that is).
  • I buy nothing that dwarfs me, no oversized clothes.
  • I buy nothing so trendy that it says "this year only."

My Taste in Jewelry

My daughter designs jewelry. Gold, silver and stones, her original creations make me feel very fashion forward, and I sometimes build my outfit around her pieces. Her jewelry is available in stores and on her website, http://www.krittjewelry.com/.

More Fun Accessories

Rectangular scarves, only in silk. Belts sometimes, provided they don't clink when I walk.
