Arkansas Grandparents Rights
Grandparents who are considering legal action to assert their grandparents rights, specifically the right of visitation, need to know the statutes and legal precedents that are likely to apply in the state in which they will be filing suit. In the state of Arkansas, grandparent visitation rights are considered only if the grandchild's parents are deceased, divorced or unmarried. Great-grandparents in Arkansas may request the same visitation rights as grandparents.
