Susan Adcox is a former English and journalism teacher with seven grandchildren.
Experience:
Susan has taught on the high school and college levels. She has taught English, creative writing, photography, and journalism, including serving as advisor for school newspapers and literary magazines. She has also been a book editor, a newsletter editor and a newspaper columnist. She currently has a blog on the Houston Chronicle website which covers lifestyle and issues for neighborhoods east of Houston. She is actively involved in the lives of her seven grandchildren.
Education:
Susan holds a bachelor's degree in literature from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. She is a certified language arts teacher.

Of all the roles I have played in my life, none has been more fascinating than being a grandmother. I believe that grandparents can greatly enrich the lives of their grandchildren, and my goal is to help them find more ways to do so. I also hope to be able to assist with those knotty issues that sometimes arise in all human relationships. My husband of almost fifty years will add a grandfather's perspective.
