Some older brides and grooms receive special wedding gifts: stepgrandchildren. Many quickly drop the "step" prefix and consider themselves Grampy or Nana or whatever grandparent name they prefer. Blended families still present challenges, just as they do for younger couples, but many older brides and grooms consider the grandchildren the best of all gifts received on their wedding day.

Great, cheerful photo. Thanks!
Celebration of an expanded family. Two beautiful smiles in this photo!
That photo certainly brightens a dreary day! What a great wedding gift.
A grandchild certainly seems like a great gift. What a happy photo! It brought a smile to my face.
Who could resist the gift of a new grandchild (of any age)?
Lovely photo!
What fun for both of them!
8 years later and those 2 are still playing together on that swing set and having a wonderful time! I don’t know who loves who the mostest! They sure make me a very happy Grandma!
Being Amara’s grandfather is the greatest gift I’ve ever received, or ever could hope to receive. Initially I was “Him”, briefly I was “Honey” because she heard her Grandma call me that, but now I’m Grampy, and that’s just the best.
What a sweet story. Love the comments from the both of you-above.
