Couples Share News in Creative Ways

My content about choosing a grandparent name has been especially popular the last couple of days. Christmas must be prime time for sharing pregnancy news. Holiday gatherings are a natural time for sharing such news, especially since so many modern families are scattered around the country, or even around the globe, and come together primarily for holidays and special occasions.

The holidays are also perfect for those couples who enjoy announcing pregnancies in unusual ways. Ultrasounds may be slipped into stockings, or baby bibs may be hiding among the other gifts. A grandparent name book is a good way to announce the conception of the first grandchild.

My daughter and son-in-law dropped by and mentioned they had been out to eat and stopped at a book store. My son-in-law got up and handed me a paper bag and said they’d picked me up a couple of books they thought I’d like. Inside were two books about being a grandparent. What a start to an absolutely terrific adventure.

Preparing the meal together with your spouse can also be
fun. KFC has been part of the American landscape for many
many years and it really is difficult to imagine the gap in modern life that would have been created had it not been for all the special
herbs and spices that have graced succulent pieces of chicken over several
decades. “Last night the weather was really bad, so instead of going out to Chili’s, we cooked the Monterey Chicken recipe from your ebook and we couldn’t even tell the difference.
