A new campaign uses Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar to teach about healthy eating. Remember? The caterpillar ate an apple, pears, plums, strawberries and oranges. I don't think the caterpillar ate a peach, but it would have been another healthy choice. And this young man clearly thinks it's a yummy choice.

Peachy indeed yummy
and he has a real go getter attitude towards eating LOL
That’s a peachy keen shot. It really is important to teach little kids about good food and avoid the habit of taking them to fast food junk places for a “treat.” How about going to a farmer’s market instead.
We should all be eating healthier and it’s best if we instill these good habits in kids when they’re young. Fruit is a great choice because most kids like the sweetness.
I remember reading the Hungry Caterpillar with my kids
That little guy sure does look like he is enjoying a really juicy peach!
Happy WW!
I love that book and so have my children and my grandchildren. It teaches many lessons.
Oooh, you’re making me long for summer now – as if waiting for spring wasn’t hard enough!
What a great idea! My grandson (33 mos.) LOVES The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Maybe with some caterpillar influence he’ll become a better eater. It’s not that he doesn’t eat healthy, he just plain doesn’t like to eat … anything.
I love that picture! I also love the Eric Carle books. My favorite is the one about the angry ladybug. Great way to talk about being angry with kids.
Snacking on a fruit, great shot.
