Wordless Wednesday: Spring Beauties

By , About.com GuideMarch 24, 2010

Girl with spring flowers reminds us that it is time to make plans for summer vacation.

This lovely tableaux reminds us that we're four days into spring. That means it's less than three months until summer. Now is the time to make summer plans. Do you want to attend Grandparent Camp or travel with your grandchildren? It's too early to pack your bags, but it's definitely not too early to make reservations.

Darling photo!

We have not made travel plans yet, but we know we want to invite all the grandparents to my son’s Eagle Scout ceremony this summer. It wouldn’t be a celebration without them!

Lovely photo!

Our plans are still up in the air, a bit. We definitely will head to the desert for Bubby’s second birthday in June, but other than that, there’s not much “vacation” time planned since my husband recently started a new job and has precious few vacation hours. But I’m okay with sticking around the house, putzing in the yard and such.

(9) Connie G. says:

Usually my sis and her kids make the journey from the West to the East to visit the grands, but this year finances and activities are preventing their trek. So, all the grands are making plans to make their own trek East to West.

This is an adorable photo two lives in the budding stage :)

I have to comment on the photo of the hula hoop. A blithesome attempt a hula hooping while ignoring a freindly warning from an expert dancer wrenched my knees and cause me years of problems including excess weight from immobility during healing downtime.

What a great shot! This spring and summer we’ll be spending lots of time up at my grandparents house in the garden we’re planting together. I’m so happy that my boys will get to spend time with their great-grandparents!

My summer plans this year will be starting graduate school. I’m very excited because it’s a goal I have had for along time that now seems achievable. But I’ll still make time for my grandchildren’s special day.
