No-Cost Fun Instead of Low-Cost Fun

I do a lot of things that cost money with my grandkids, but some of their favorite things to do are not low cost. They are no cost. I'm talking about crazy eights, hide-and-seek and walks through the neighborhood. We're always improvising games, too, like the bumpy road game in the porch swing. We start off swinging nice and smooth and then, bam! We hit that bumpy road! Then there's imaginative play, pretending to be spacemen or superheros or tigers. By the time we've finished playing and the grandkids have gone home, I don't have to pretend to be tired.
